Senior Security Consultant
A Senior Security Consultant (SSC) must have the experience, technical skill, consulting finesse, and management skills required to deliver a broad variety of technically demanding projects. This role may be appropriate for new hires with extensive security consulting experience or those who can immediately contribute at a senior level, but generally those with this role have a long history of effectively delivering NCC Group projects.
Security Consultant is the position that NCC Group relies upon to deliver standard projects. SCs are expected to be capable of running projects and working around obstacles to meet customer expectations. They should have the technical and soft skills needed to act as members of many NCC Group project teams and deliver more complex projects in a supporting role. Security Consultants need to be able to understand and explain findings and recommendations based on both technical and business criteria.
We are looking for security-focused engineers and researchers to join our security consulting and research practice. Job duties will include penetration testing, security analysis, and cutting-edge research into current technologies and attacks. You do not have to have industry experience to apply, just interest in security.

Principal Security Consultant
Principal Security Consultants (PSC) are expected to act as Technical Leaders both within and outside of the company. Within the company, PSCs should contribute to NCC Group tools and research. Externally, their work should be made available via presentations at top-tier security conferences and through whitepapers and technical publications. Customers should specifically come to NCC Group for the work and skills of people at the PSC level and above. Principal Security Consultants remain key contributors to project delivery at NCC Group. PSCs will focus primarily on projects that are technically complex, require senior resources because of unique scoping, or that are ideally suited for mentoring junior employees.
Sales Development Representative
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at NCC Group, you will play a key role as we continue to build out our sales and marketing engine to support our fast-growing business. The primary focus will be outbound calling and e-mail efforts to identify net new accounts, opportunities, and revenue. Though “high value” communication you will work to establish the credibility of NCC Group as a trusted security firm, establish our services as relevant for security and compliance needs and to and make our organization “top of mind” for customers when they think about IT risk, security and compliance. You will also coordinate closely with the Strategic Account Managers to support prospecting activities for priority accounts to secure a sufficient flow of additional qualified opportunities.

Senior / Principal Security Consultants are a critical element of the growing Incident Response (“IR”) practice at NCC Group. The Security Consultants must be able to triage an ongoing event, acquire the appropriate evidence for laboratory technicians to analyze, and perform limited immediate analysis onsite in order to assist other responders. Consultants will also be expected to deliver on NCC Group security engagements outside of the IR Practice when available and where skillsets align.
Strategic Account Manager
A Strategic Account Manager (“SAM”) is responsible for prospecting, qualifying and closing new business from a set of Target Accounts and accounts in a geographic territory, growing annual spend rates with current customers and maintaining strong client relationships. The candidate, who must be able to demonstrate sustained high performance with consistent over-achievement in similar positions, will be expected to function independently, while meeting the goals set by the management team. The SAM position will require one to effectively manage a complex sales cycle from lead generation to sale and then follow-on growth at each new account. The major day-to-day interactions will be with internal team members, prospects and customers.
