The UK transport sector needs to increase its efforts to counter the ever-evolving cyber threat, a new report has suggested.

The Cyber Security and Intelligent Mobility report from the Transport Systems Catapult summarises the key findings from its continued research.

NCC Group is acknowledged for its significant investment in transport cyber security.

Andy Davis, transport cyber security practice director at NCC Group, said: “As the number of connected vehicles on our roads increases, it is vital that those within the industry are aware of the growing attack surface that cyber criminals can exploit.

“NCC Group continues to work with a number of organisations and OEM (original equipment manufacturers) within the transport sector to improve the security of connected vehicles.”
