NCC Group’s DDI capabilities highlighted by industry report
NCC Group has been acknowledged as a major player in the global DDI (DNS, DHCP and IP address management) market in a report by Transparency Market Research (TMR), alongside companies including BlueCat Networks, Cisco, Infoblox and Microsoft.
The global cyber security and risk mitigation expert offers network management solutions and services for Domain Name System (DNS) and Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) requirements , enabling businesses to improve network availability and increase visibility across their networks.
The company’s vendor-agnostic DDI Guard solution also monitors DNS and DHCP activity at packet level and provides businesses with automated reports and alerts on any suspicious activity or potentially unauthorised devices.
NCC Group boosted its DDI capabilities following the acquisition of Accumuli plc in May 2015, and now offers a comprehensive portfolio of DDI solutions to help businesses to manage and secure their networks.
Lee Driver, Director of Managed Services at NCC Group, said: “Businesses are becoming increasingly aware of the importance of an effective DDI solution. It’s no longer just about reducing the cost of managing these services manually – with DDoS attacks and other cyber threats, the visibility and control provided by DDI solutions are an essential element of any security strategy.
“We’re pleased that our dedication to complete network security has been recognised in TMR’s report. It is also encouraging to see TMR drawing attention to DDI solutions as one of the building blocks of a secure enterprise IT infrastructure.”
